The brief from this customer was to create a light, airy, impacting kitchen in this stunning Grade II listed barn conversion. This quirky design was focussed around brightening this dark room, and making the traditional family dining table the heart of the home. Painted wood doors in a traditional shaker style were complemented with oak framing to bring in the colour of the table and the limestone colour really adds warmth. Silestone white storm solid quartz worktops and up stands bounce the light around the room.

The traditional features that come with a building of this age added real challenges, with both design and installation - the uneven walls, low beams and exposed stonework all add to the character of the room. The stunning extractor from Faber adds a modern twist, but also combats the issue of limited head room. Check out the bespoke shelving unit - a quirky addition requested by the artistic owner.

This kitchen had all the extras to make the most of storage, from pull out drawers in both a tall larder and next to the hob, to pan drawers and a LeMans corner unit - you can never have too much storage! The kitchen was finished with top of the range, integrated NEFF appliances, including Oven, Combi Oven/Microwave, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Fridge/Freezer and NEFF Magnetic Induction Hob.
