HANDLELESS SATIN TAUPE & END GRAIN OAK, ALVASTON, DERBY

This kitchen was a pleasure design, the client's brief was to have plenty of worksurface space, a centre island at the centre of the kitchen, top end multifunction appliances and somewhere to relax listening to music or watching tv with a well-deserved glass of wine.

The client is a keen chef and chose Siemens Studioline appliances in the new space grey finish for a nice sleek, modern finish to compliment the streamline true handleless kitchen they had chosen in a soft satin lacquer. They wanted steam cooking, combination cooking to maximise the potential of the ovens and a flex-induction hob for an additional level of culinary flexibility.

The modern, 20mm Silestone Quartz Niebla worksurfaces are both beautiful and functional and offer durability and strength and accents of end grain sawn oak create a defined seating area and add texture. 

​

Quooker 3 in 1 Fusion Hot Tap and integrated waste bin unit all add to the functionality and minimalistic, organised design of this kitchen. Other luxuries such as a 1800mm larder fridge and freezer are hidden away on either side of the ovens for maximum use of space a making use of the noFrost option – never defrost your freezer again! Integrated Siemens Washer and Dishwasher all add to the streamline look the client desired.

The subtle hints of end grain oak contrast the pale taupe matt lacquer finish doors, and complement the luxury flooring which is cleverly used to add warmth to this modern design.  We especially love the clients use of a feature colour wall to add character to the room and create the heart of the home they desired.
