A fantastic example of how to tastefully create a modern kitchen in a traditional setting, with no compromises on state of the art appliances.

 

The beams, traditional exposed stonework and AGA are all reminiscent of the history of the building, but the kitchen itself is brought into the 21st century with seamless, gloss porcelain, handleless kitchen cabinets, Neff appliances, Quooker Fusion Boiling Hot Water Tap and Silestone Quartz worktops.

 

Quirky features were added to the design to give a feel that was in keeping with the surroundings, such as the Faber Shining Cast Iron Feature Ceiling Extractor and Light Feature, the sawn oak style farmhouse table supplied by Kitchen Craft and laminate breakfast bar seating and Midi Housing Tops which add contrast and texture to the overall look of the room.

 

The island provides that much needed extra worktop space, and cleverly integrates open shelving on the reverse and a seating area to bridge the space between kitchen and dining and create a large, open plan living space. A floating entertainment unit in the same cabinet colour and style ties the two areas together perfectly whist creating a stylish alternative to the traditional TV unit. 

 

All the mod cons are included in this kitchen, from the Neff appliances, including Slide & Hide Oven, Combination Oven, Warming Drawer, Dishwasher and Flex Zone Induction Point & Twist hob to the Quooker Fusion Boiling Hot Water Tap for instant boiling or cold water. 

 

The kitchen is completed with extremely hard wearing Silestone Quartz worktops in Coral Clay and the sleek modern finish continues with the quartz colour matching sink, window cills, upstands, side panels to the oven housing and integrated drainer grooves fabricated into the work surface.
