"a traditional shaker style kitchen with clever storage solutions, oak accents and matching utility to create a seamless, bright, airy and open space"
TRADITIONAL PORCELAIN TIMBER & OAK ACCENTS, WALTON, CHESTERFIELD

A kitchen & utility installation undertaken in Walton, Chesterfield. This traditional shaker style timber kitchen is finished in porcelain with oak used to add colour and warmth.

The traditional style units are completed with white arabesque quartz worksurfaces featuring a beautiful grey graining similar to marble, but without the porous properties and maintenance, by Silestone. The quartz is extended up to the extractor hood for a seamless look and the ultimate in durability and longevity.

Solid oak was used on the seating area to add warmth and subtly zone the space, whilst warmer grey units below soften and modernises the overall look and add much needed additional storage to the room.

Additional features include a small winecooler, tall appliance bank including the compact combi oven from Neff and famous Slide and Hide Oven as featured on the Great British Bake Off, along with Fridge freezer and pullout larder. The floor to ceiling wine rack finished in oak alongside a wood panel effect end panel add to the overall traditional feel of the space.

The client also had their utility finished in matching furniture with oak accents to tie the two spaces together and complete the seamless look of the space. This light and bright kitchen shows that traditional can still look beautiful.
