"Chic and sophisticated, bling and glitz with added feature items, a small room with big drama!"
J PULL WHITE GLOSS AND SILVER GREY WITH DRIFTWOOD, MOSBOROUGH
This client’s brief was to maximise storage and create a combined seating and entertaining area in an awkward room size. Although a white gloss kitchen was desired, the design had to include other shades and textures to add depth, warmth and interest to the room and prevent it feeling clinical and stark.
The client was keen not to overcrowd the room, or create bulky, jagged areas and keep clean crisp lines. We achieved this by housing the tall units into a false stud-work, this gave the desired sleek flush look. Tall units were also fitted to the ceiling to elongate the room and give extra storage.
A range of materials were utilised, including crisp white and warm silver grey fascias and contemporary driftwood grey laminate worktops. Smoke grey tinted mirror splash backs add depth to the room and give the illusion of a much larger room and a hint of gliz and glamour to the space.
The clever use of a few luxurious appliances elevate the kitchen further, from the Neff Point and Twist Flex Induction Hob, Neff Slide & Hide Oven and Neff Combination Oven to the integrated Wine Cooler and Telescopic extractor.
A bespoke, floating multimedia unit was created to house the TV, using white gloss doors and driftwood framing which maintained the crisp clean lines of the room and tied the two areas together perfectly.
The overall look is chic and sophisticated, accessorised beautifully with freestanding appliances, dramatic lighting features above the seating area and use of multiple finishes within the design.
